Effective January ‘09, APA is offering specialized on-campus training for its High School
students for Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)preparation, to help increase their test scores.
This training will be provided by Austin-based award winning SAT Preparatory Academy,
“MORE THAN A TEACHER”.

SALIENT FEATURES
•“MORE THAN A TEACHER” has been coaching students for more than 20 years on SAT and ACT, standardized
tests for admission to colleges.
•“MORE THAN A TEACHER” academy is rated as one of the best college-testing preparation centers in the U.S.
•Unique teaching methodology helps students build the necessary skills for success in SAT and ACT.
•Program will help identify areas of weakness and provide indication of each student’s possible SAT scores.

COLLEGE-PREP TRAINING
•APA will conduct SAT training from January ’09 till May ’09.
•Training will be held for 1 ½ hours on Fridays, after regular classes.
•This will be MANDATORY for all APA High School students.
•Data will help teachers to provide the necessary assistance ‘early enough’ to address the areas of weakness
•Program guaranteed to increase SAT score by at least 200 points
